Speaking on the remix, JWords says, "Backwards remix was inspired by Busta Rhymes Touch It remix, bringing everyone together and honoring the way remixes used to be." Maassai also returns with an updated verse to round out the remix. Maassai adds, “We got several different flavors and energies on one hard beat. Everyone really brought something refreshing to it.”
